Please bring proof of rabies vaccination, proof of spay/neuter (if applicable) and payment of $8.00 for spayed/neutered dog or $19.00 for unaltered dog.

Wallingford seniors (65 years and older) and residents under 65 years of age who have been issued a Medicare card may purchase a $5 permit and receive a coupon book.
TO GET A PERMIT AND COUPON BOOK: Apply at the Wallingford Department of Public Works, 29 Town Farm Road Weekdays: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. No permits will be sold on Saturdays. The price of the $5 permit
will not be prorated or refunded. To apply for this program, an eligible resident should bring:
- CT Driver’s License or CT Identification Card (available at DMV) with a Wallingford address
- a valid Medicare card (if applicable)
- AND vehicle registration* showing a Wallingford address for the vehicle that will be used to deliver trash to the disposal site. *A permit will not be issued for a commercial vehicle.

Attention Wallingford Water Customers: The Water Division has begun its annual water main flushing program and will be flushing on a Monday through Friday schedule between the hours of 7:30am and 5:00pm. Any questions please contact Water Division at 203-949-2660
